Botanical Garden Sarchi
The Botanical Garden is home to over 2,000 different
plants from around the world. They are perfectly suited for
recreation, education and ecotourism. The Botanical Garden is spread
over 7 hectares (17 acres)
in Sarchi Norte, nestled at the foot of Volcano Poás in
Costa Rica's Central Valley. |
Hike more than 2
kilometers (1.6 miles) of footpaths, as you marvel at our Botanical
Garden's collections and designs. Learn more about plants, using the
Botanical Garden as an open classroom. Around each turn you will
encounter a new scene of colors and textures of the plants and trees.
Enjoy the serenity our small pond, picnic with family and friends in
our rest area. The Botanical Garden is open to the public all year.
You can explore it on your own, take part in a guided walk, or arrange
an individual appointment for a group. During any season, the Garden
is worth visiting. There are many unusual and exciting things here ...
